Many companies will provide you with instant criminal history information at very low prices. While this may seem convenient and cost effective, you should be aware that most of these searches are from Corrections Department databases. Companies that rely on corrections databases will only be able to provide you with a portion of felony convictions because not all convicted felons serve time in a state facility.
